Altèro is the new wallpaper collection created in collaboration with Giuseppe Porcelli.

A search that starts from afar and finds inspiration among the scraps of an 18th century fabric swatch-book. Brocades and damasks, taffetas and velvets, lace and burettes. Embellished with weaves and embroidery, they reveal complex textures while elaborate backgrounds mingle with stripes and floral bouquets. Like a sequence of rooms, Altèro is a series of 10 designs meticulously detailed able to recreate the sparkle of a thread running through the fabric, and then printed on hand-painted backgrounds that emphasize the craftsmanship preceding the printing. A perfect dialogue between past and present.
