Linea '900
“Linea 900” is born from Pictalab’s love for Italian Liberty, a style that embodies a vision in which elegance, originality, and functionality merge with a special attention to the pairing of unique and precious materials. Strongly influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement, Liberty is distinguished by its organic forms and compositional rigor, and expresses itself through the excellence of craftsmanship. The collection interprets this heritage through a contemporary lens, giving walls not only decoration, but also a sense of continuity with the Liberty tradition—one that has been able to innovate without ever renouncing harmony. The collaboration between Pictalab and Di Mano in Mano for “Amart” marks the beginning of this reinterpretation, translating the art of early twentieth-century inlay into a contemporary decorative vocabulary. The primary inspiration comes from the work of Eugenio Quarti, a cabinetmaker and designer who stands as a symbol of Italian Liberty, whose research combined compositional rigor with refined material sensitivity.
